 About Us

Brief History

Abstract Art Online was formed in May 1999 by Joe Walentini as a monthly online periodical devote to abstract art. From then until May 2005 62 issues were produced that were collected into 7 volumes (the first year was split into two volumns).

During this period over 300 exhibition reviews were published.  Other monthly content included Artist Profiles and an Essays.  An additonal feature included a conversation series comprised of interviews on a variety of subjects conducted by Joe Walentini with artists, gallery owners and critics.
